We are the “data controller” for personal information collected through this website.

When you submit our quote form, we collect:

• your name;
• your phone number;
• your email address;
• your property address;
• the service you’re interested in;
• your preferred date;
• how urgent the work is;
• any notes you choose to provide.

We also collect standard technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) through our hosting provider’s logs. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We use your personal data to respond to your enquiry, prepare your quote, and deliver our services. Our lawful bases for doing so are:

• taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR); and
• our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

We never sell your data. To run our business we use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Netlify — website hosting;
• Resend — email delivery;
• Google Workspace — business email;
• Zapier — automation;
• Jobber — customer management system.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum or UK adequacy regulations.

If you don’t become a customer, we keep your enquiry details for up to 24 months from our last contact. If you do become a customer, we keep your records for the duration of our relationship and for up to 6 years afterwards for legal, tax and insurance purposes. [TODO: confirm retention periods.]

Under UK GDPR you can:

• request access to the data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct it;
• ask us to delete it;
• restrict or object to how we process it;
• request data portability.
